It got cold for a few days, and further north, it got bitter cold. While Montana suffered through 10 degree weather with 10 below wind chills, we got down to absolute zero for some locals. It was actually pretty mild. It got down to 31 at my house in the high desert but this flower never noticed the cold.
I’ve read that the Tamron Lens is a “bit soft” at maximum aperture. This shot was taken at 3.2 and it seems fairly crisp but I’ll admit that I’ve seen the effect at long focal lengths and greater than portrait distances at f/2.8. Still, the lens is a great walking around lens with its 28-105 range. It’s ready for almost anything.
