These stairs grace a custom built home in La Cresta, CA. The wood floors in this home were indeed beautiful as were the stairs. I used Photoshop and the FX Dream Suite to add some warmth and glow to the photograph.

Back in October, the high desert and even Orange County were still hitting temps in the 100s. Mad Madeline’s, a favorite burger stand in Old Town Temecula was running its misters to give relief from the heat while customers dined on perfect hamburgers and cool shakes. This is a favorite hangout for bikers and a good opportunity to try my hand at interpreting the golden ratio.
Some of my favorite photographs taken over time. Not all were taken in Orange County. Some are obviously from Europe or Maui; others, right here at home in Orange County. My style of photography if you can call it that is Journalistic. I try to capture an emotion in my photography, even if it’s just the experience of a discovery of a moment of magic in nature, a simple picture of a home, commercial real estate or the wonder of the great world in a child’s eyes.
