As a photographer, I can affirm that one of the happiest events to photograph is a baby shower. Baby shower photography captures a celebration of new life. There is a solidarity among women. A shared experience- for some, yet to be, for others in days long past, but the experience of birth and new life is shared by all. Baby shower photography is an informal and fast paced work. Capturing emotions and expressions usually are in an instant and you have one chance. This is no venue for amateur photographers, your mastery of the camera must be complete and confident because speed is of the essence to capture what really matters at the baby shower from start to finish.
