Here in Orange County, spring isn’t just around the corner, it’s here, and I’ve noticed quite the uptick in people looking for the best ideal photography locations in Orange County. Plans are underway now for weddings, events and just great places to take pictures, or be photographed. Well, I can vouch for Corona Del Mar. It’s spectacular just about any time of year. Little Girls and Ring Bearers at the Wedding

At the wedding little girls bridesmaids and ring bearers
This picture is not technically perfect by any stretch but it’s still one of my favorites from this particular wedding. I used it in the introduction to the video.  For this wedding, I wasn’t able to get the usual 24-70, 2.8 lens.  Instead, I got something like a 28–105 4.0  which gave me better zoom but no shallow depth of field, and none of the pictures seem to come out quite as clear as those taken with the 24–70.
Even so, the emotion and mood of this photograph seem to evoke wonderment and awe at all that was taking place.

The Kiss

This shot was actually fairly easy because I was required to stand in just one spot for the entire ceremony, behind the organist. No flash was allowed. I used a Canon 70-200 2.8 for close in shots, and the 50mm 1.8 for wider ones during the ceremony.
