Stop a moment and rest your eyes on this idyllic ocean view at Maui’s one black sand beach. I wish I were there right now. For me, even looking a little while at my Maui photos is like a little 15 second vacation.

Taken January, 2007 at Maui’s Waianapanapa State Park. This black sand beach sparkles like diamonds in the sun. The unique combination of erosion of volcanic deposits in the water and the formation of the inlet where this beach is found create a rare sight. Maui’s only truly black sand beach. I love visiting this spot, and one tour bus I took deemed it not worth the stop!

Angelo’s & Vinci’s Restaurant and Banquet Hall in Fullerton CA provided the subject for this photograph along with the bouganvilla surrounding the entrance. Photographed in October, 2009 on Canon 40D. No photoshop.

Tiger Woods neighborhood is different than yours. How? Look at it carefully, Look at Tiger Woods Jupiter Island community and ask yourself, “Where do I fit in?” First, where’s your boat and private golf course? Of course, what would any home be without a private beach view and entrance? Does your home have its own beach view? Oh. Right. Which building in your spread will you hang out in today, the 4,500 recreation center or the main 8,000 square foot house? Can’t decide? How about the mini clubhouse? Don’t have one? Well! You’re just not keeping up! You’d better get out some more of that $40 million and spruce the place up! Hobe Sound won’t be the same without your participation.

To the casual observer, it may look like I’m just sitting here in Starbucks browsing the web but I’m actually posting videos to YouTube fast and furious and then optimizing them onsite, and offsite.

Now I went and forgot my call to action on one of the videos. That means change it and hope YouTube and Google both index the changes, or just post another one. I think I’ll do the latter.

Half of the pictures are actually taken in the Fullerton Homes area at Brea Dam and are beautiful captures of one of those rare crystal clear days with snow covered San Gabriel Mountains and the green hills and valleys of Orange County.
