Boeing Dreamliner Maiden Flight A Snoozer

Like the entire 787 program, the maiden flight was delayed. Onlookers waited for an extra hour to see the aircraft take to the skies. Off lumbered the plane, burning up thousands of carbon credits and flying around in large circles, mostly with flaps down and staying under 12,000 feet. When the pilots finally test the flaps, one expressed relief that they went back down. All said, the plane landed early because of terrifying inclement weather and touched down. A seemly routine flight after two years of labor disputes throughout the company.
