They’re at the peak of blooming now. The Jacaranda trees leave a lavender carpet on the ground covering lawns, streets and even roofs as the petals begin to drop down.

Half of the pictures are actually taken in the Fullerton Homes area at Brea Dam and are beautiful captures of one of those rare crystal clear days with snow covered San Gabriel Mountains and the green hills and valleys of Orange County.
