To the casual observer, it may look like I’m just sitting here in Starbucks browsing the web but I’m actually posting videos to YouTube fast and furious and then optimizing them onsite, and offsite.
Now I went and forgot my call to action on one of the videos. That means change it and hope YouTube and Google both index the changes, or just post another one. I think I’ll do the latter.

Optimally, You would want to post a video on the topic of homes and real estate and have Google show it at the top of organic search results like you may see randomly, from time to time at or near the top of a results page. That has not happened for me yet, but what has happened is an organic link to a Youtube video has appeared directly as a result of using the keywords for the title, or its start. The video pushed aside competition that I’ve been working to overcome for weeks.
My keyword was simple, Mirasol homes for sale, and I created a few back-links to the video URL. Now, I’m interested in whether additional back-links push it up any further than its position 8 in the real estate related web search.

This means what? Nothing! If ten or a hundred new listings went up on the market and one in particular was priced as realistically as an agent could convince the client, then the whole average could be skewed by several percentage points, depending on the number of new listings. Next week perhaps, someone else will report that the average listing price is up by some percentage.
I’ve been working with a client, optimizing his web presence in an exclusive area of Palm Beach County FL. PGA National homes, a community in Palm Beach Gardens that is both exclusive and only has around 4000 homes total has properties in the millions. What kind of statistics would week to week listings there yield.
Someone must think those numbers motivate people. They forget that people buy, on some level, based on an emotional response. Very few cut the deal based absolutely and strictly on mathematical analysis for anything. Very few, like Warren Buffet, have that kind of discipline.
